About Us
Coz Constructions specialises in creating new bespoke spaces for clients on the Sunshine Coast. Mick Cosgrove, the owner of Coz Constructions, is a registered builder with QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) and a proud member of HIA (Housing Industry Association). He has been in the building industry for over 20 years and has always had a passion for building from a very early age.
Prior to moving to the coast, Mick Cosgrove – renowned as a master craftsman of his trade – built a number of architectural, award winning homes while acting as a foreman for a well‐ known Toowoomba builder. Ready to go out on his own as a builder, Mick decided to make the move to the Sunshine Coast where he spent much of his childhood, and create his own building company here on the Sunshine Coast
Mick has a keen eye for detail and has always loved building and creating new spaces especially those with an architectural flare.
He has had experience in building pretty much everything. He has worked on a vast range of residential and commercial building projects – such as high end architectural homes; penthouse unit renovations; outdoor living areas including swimming pools; renovations on heritage listed houses – even learning the old craft of installing pressed metal ceilings; and commercially built shop fit‐outs, school sports halls and skate parks.

We don’t believe in the one-size fits all approach and we work with our clients to create the very best outcome. We rarely tell our clients it can’t be done we are open to new products and techniques – whatever the vision is for our client is what we look to achieve – while ensuring it is executed to the highest building standards and in line with the Australian/Queensland Building codes.
We actually care about our clients experience and the end result of our clients build. It’s our aim that what it looked like in planning stages is exactly what it looks like at handover. We’ve come across a lot of substandard workmanship since opening our doors at the Sunshine Coast and have had to step in and fix some frightening building flaws created by cowboys in the industry. Our ultimate difference is that we offer a high quality finish from the get go. We have also carefully selected the best tradespeople in the industry to work with our team, along with reputable and reliable suppliers. With the right team behind your build, we can ensure that we handover properties that have been beautifully finished to the very highest of standards.
The timeline of your build is also really important to us. A good builder knows how to build something in the quickest possible time-frame and stick to building deadlines – as we know that time is money and money well spent is essential.
